Wow am I lucky to have been able to make the trip to Utah for Addie's wedding. I had so much fun! We started off the celebrations with a special evening of dinner and both sets of parents and all of the Woods there. (Yummy dinner JoAnna! and she gave me the recipes!)
Sam, Shirley, CJ and Addie just finishing the dinner. By the way, his last name is White, so now Addies name is Mrs. White.
We exchanged gifts with them and they with each other. Addie gave him a nice watch and he made a frame to put a temple picture of the two of them in. Super nice and thoughtful gifts. We all went around the room and gave advice or a nice thought for them to start their married life with.

Me and momma waiting outside for the rest to arrive.

The Reception: It was held at some friends of the Woods who also live in the canyon. Quite an extrodinary place. It had its own parking lot, a fish laid en stream with a bridge and an outdoor dance floor! Here is the bride and groom arriving.

JoAnna had a table full of toys and activities for the children. A big hit!

After the wedding I was invited to Drew and Melindas home for birthday cake. Yes, I turned a another year older. That happens every now and then. We had fun. This is my favorite picture of the boys, Sam and Isaac. They play so well together.
Soon BJ and Kiki arrived for a visit so we went outside to play. This is Drew's backyard - a huge grassy field with a duck pond! So of course the kids couldn't ignore the water!

They fed the ducks and ignored Maize who is too young to know that mud is slippery!
The next thing we knew she was in over her head. Mud in the eyes , mouth and soaked from head to toe.

She got a bath and some nice clean pajamas from Isaac. What nice cousin. She was as good as new and happy again.

Then came the wonderful and beautiful birthday cake! Thanks Drew and Melinda for thinking of me.
