St. Patricks Day Run

Early on Saturday we ventured out to our lovely Mission Bay Park where I was the appointed the official photographer for the boys on their St. Patrick's Day 10K run.
I had the better end of that deal - no running for me -just point and shoot.
It is black outside because the sun hasn't come up yet - chilly too.





Tod and Calvin had nearly an hour of fun stretching out and joking about before the race started.

They are trying to do some running or biking every week so they will be ready for the big Triathlon in May. Somehow they don't look too serious about this.




There were over two thousand people there so we got separated for a time. They had their pizza in hand by the time I found them and realized that I completely missed them crossing the finish line!

They look in pretty good shape for pounding the pavement for the last 60 minutes.









But here they are at the finish line (after the drinks and pizza and having rested for about a half hour!) Looks like they are excited to do the next one -kinda sorta.
