The Beginning
Everyone celebrates in their own way a special day like July 4th. For some sleeping in, a little picnic later on, a few fireworks after that - sounds great. But for others...like Tod and Calvin.... getting up at the crack of dawn to run their brains out sounded like the most fun of all!!
Here they are -happy with their decision and content with cutting 5 minutes off their personal best just made the day even better.
Sorry about the sideways, I'm still new at this. Tod ran faster than ever by glancing OFTEN at his new watch that tells me how fast he is going, what his heart rate is, how many steps he is taking and anything else plus any runner would want to know.
No tossing cookies this time. They both felt great and just LOVE doing this sort of thing together. Calvin spent the next four hours sleeping while Tod and Kim went to the park for a picnic and then home for a great movie. All in all we were all happy with our choice of celebration. Happy birthday America!!

Spiffy watch! But the real question is, does it come with a slide rule? I love the pictures, they are motivating me. Cal, ryan and i were both admiring your arms. Muscle man! Love ya.
wait you cant have this post without telling us how they did. i figured it was a 10K from the picture with the sign, but how fast did they run it? i am jealous, i want one of those watches myself. they are pretty cool
