We decided that if we are going to take our kids and grandkids camping then we better pick the best spot we can find for them. As pretty as this was - it didn't get first pick. This is South Carlsbad camp ground.
This is the back part of our camp spot - a nice sight to go to sleep to.
The morning after means a nice bike ride! We went slow so we could see how everybody else set up there camp. Some of them looked like they were there long enough to pay rent!
I guess I got these out of order but this is Tod blowing up the air mattress. Looks a little dazed eh - and we all thought he was soooo full of hot air!!!
Nice sleeping quarters. Nice view. Nice cool weather. Nice sounds -NOT. It was so stinkin noisy from the waves rushing over the very rocky beach that we had a hard time hearing each other talk even laying side by side!
So we decided it was too noisy for grandkids to be sleeping here. We ended going up the coast and checking out all the campgounds. Hands down we decided on San Clemente. Looking forward to our camping reunion next year kiddos!
