Here we are at the Old Town comemoration celebration. What fun it was! I wish we had taken our kids when they were young -so much for them to do.
The highlight was going on the NEW Mormon Battalion visitors center. Newly remodeled. It is very up to date and has a very unique way of telling the battalion story. Here I am panning for gold! Darn struck out...

There are actually talking photos of bygone day people. So cool!
Can't wait for someone to come visit so we can take them there. It's such a great story all by itself but made so much better with all the new toys.

I love the picture of mom panning for gold with the five-year-olds! Plus, the multiple pictures of dad where his face is clearly saying, "Kim, put that stupid camera away."
Maybe we can hit up the old batalion center this summer. It looks way different then when we were kids.
And yeah, dads letting you get away with a lot more these days behind the camera.
