Wow! A real meet the parents night! Saturday we attended an engagement party for Becky and Calvin. We went to Carlsbad to the Andolin's home and met EVERYONE. It was really fun. Here is a photo of the cake I took celebrating them.
From Left to Right is Becky's brother Chris and his wife Chelsea standing to the right of him. Her mother Suzann and father Wally and then you would of course recognize Care and Finn.
We played a game -a newlyengaged sort of "how well do you know each other" game. It was disgusting how much they know of each other. Becky knew a lot more of the answers than I did about Calvin. The only thing that made me feel better is that Suzann was about the same with how much Calvin knew about Becky. Berni and Ryan - you've met your match!!!
Care wanted to hold the pet Corn snake. She kissed it and pet it like a dog ...yuck!
After the festivities we went to the reception place. I'm excited about it. So nice and open and airy. There is a lovely pond with a walking path around it. Can't wait till all happens!

What fun! I'm glad it was a good experience. Calvin looks so studly in that sweater! Becky is definitely a good influence on him. :)
