It's fun to pretend

Sometimes it is easy to pretend, like maybe we are rich or something. When Fred and JoAnna came to town we visited with them at their hotel - the Marriott at Seaport Village. How relaxing it was! After a very nice dinner at the Fish Market - so yummy -we went to their hotel to talk. We sat in the cushy chairs warmed by the fire and listening to the waterfall in the pools next to us. Darn we forgot our suits! Its fun to pretend - like maybe we were fit and thin or something. I guess we were pretending that we were skinny and could both sit in the same chair at the same time. HA - she's really ON my lap!

Ahhhh much better, see how happy she is to have her own chair...

We pretended a lot of things that night, like are tummies weren't really as full as they were, or like we owned the patio of the Marriott and the lovely palm lined lap pool with waterfalls and diving boards, but mostly we laughed a lot. It was so good to catch up. Thanks Fred and JoAnna for sharing a whole evening with us and helping us not take life to seriously.

Now you know how Britt and I pretended when we trespassed into that hotels pool. We pretended that we were young heireses' and we could swim where ever we wanted and no one could tell us to leave because we would get them fired if they did. It's fun to pretend, I'm glad you joined the club.
